Who can participate in Xypheria?

Xypheria is open to all students, professionals, and hobbyists passionate about technology and innovation. Whether you're a seasoned developer or just starting out, you're welcome to join us!

Do I need a team to participate?

You can register individually or as a team of up to 4 members. If you register solo, we'll have team formation activities on Day 1 to help you find teammates.

Bring your laptop, charger, any hardware you might need for your project, and your creativity! We'll provide food, drinks, sleeping areas, and all the caffeine you need.

Is there a registration fee?

No, Xypheria is completely free to attend! Thanks to our generous sponsors, we can provide an amazing experience at no cost to participants.

What are the judging criteria?

Projects are judged on Innovation (25%), Technical Complexity (25%), Design & UX (20%), Impact & Feasibility (20%), and Presentation (10%).

Can I start working on my project before the hackathon?

All coding must be done during the 24-hour hackathon period. However, you can brainstorm ideas, form teams, and plan your approach beforehand.

Will there be food and sleeping arrangements?

Yes! We provide all meals, snacks, and unlimited coffee throughout the event. We also have quiet rooms with sleeping bags and mats for those who need rest.

What if I'm not a programmer?

Hackathons need diverse skills! Designers, product managers, marketers, and domain experts are all valuable team members. Your unique perspective could be the key to a winning project.
